Unions use to be for the Democratic party, because that party was for the working man. Boy how that changed. The Democratics are heading towards socialism. The strong NYC construction and skilled unions like the elevators, and electricians are rallying for the other side. |

Barney Spurr was always out for himself. He had no children, wife worked yet he told around that he was going to give the union 30 days to bring back a contract. (arrogant SOB) I don't think he lasted the 30 days. |

Barney Spurr If there were levels of scabdom, the scab Barney Spurr would be at the bottom. Just before the strike/lockout, FEA MSP, management posted a sheet for Overtime signup. Only one person placed his name on the list, that person being Spurr. (The list disappeared) Soon after we went out, about 3 weeks Spurr became a scab. On his drive in to work and as driving by passing us out "on the line", this POS would smile and wave wildly at us so as to ensure that he got our attention. In hindsight of those years, I ponder working with some damned fine men and women, good times. People like Spurr, you knew they were different, it just took a crisis to bring out their true colors. |

they did it again. the senate has passed another 90 billion dollar spending spree and no boarder money in the bill. Thanks to both the libtards and the repukes for spending my money.
